Smart-Fill has changed the pharmacy game forever by changing the way independents deal with wholesalers. They are my agent and my voice for almost every issue that I face in my business today.

Smart-fill changed purchasing by making our rebates easily trackable so that we now know our true cost of goods the same day we purchase them. We can now see our real margins and make better business decisions on how to staff and inventory our pharmacy. We no longer have to guess at the phantom "back-end" rebates that come 3 to 6 months after invoicing. Our preferred generics are not switched the last 10 days of the month because the wholesaler is "out." This means we can hit our compliance percentages and maximize our rebates.

As Smart-fill grows, so do I as an independant. Going forward I am confident that Smart-fill will help independents to be pro-active instead of reactive to what goes on in our industry.

I have three pharmacies. The first one to sign up for Smart-Fill was a new start-up and to get my acquisition costs down, Smart-Fill was the only answer. I have been very pleased with the service from Smart-Fill. The customer service has been excellent. Any problems that have arisen have been taken care of in a timely fashion and have been few and far between. When my drug costs can be decreased by up to 4.4%, I would be crazy not to sign up.
