Plan for a healthy summer

This weekend our communities will be honoring our nation’s fallen soldiers. Just this week, I learned we owe this particular day of commemoration to a pharmacist, Henry Wells, who with General John B. Murray decided to honor the Civil War dead by decorating the graves of the honored dead in three Waterloo, New York cemeteries. The tradition stuck.  

For many, the weekend also means the unofficial start of summer, and as pharmacists and community members it’s a good time to remind our patients of ways to keep themselves safe and well in the months to come:
