B. Jensen Our three practices have embraced new patient focused roles which place increased demand on pharmacist and technician time. As these new roles have matured, cost pressures and controls have moved to the forefront inside of a managed care environment. Central fill capability has long been identified as a solution to both managing these costs and facilitating better use of our time and talents. Smart Fill, as a working central fill model, has proven to be an invaluable tool in managing the dispensing component of our practice portfolio. We continue to expand our use of both the central fill (SmartFill) and automated refill (AutoFill) services using these technologies with technician support to streamline our dispensing procedures in a most cost-effective manner. In so doing, we have reduced our operating costs and improved cash flow. SmartFill remains a critical part of our strategic plan to maintain profitability in a changing reimbursement world. P.
