New York-based analytics company, Truveris, reported this week that prescription prices, driven primarily by branded drugs, rose 10.4 percent in 2015. The Top Ten, based on dollars sold, carry names familiar even to the layperson, thanks to ubiquitous advertising campaigns that air before brands mercifully go off-patent. Minnesota pharmacist Jessica Astrup Ehret shared the latest list of those (from April 2014 to May 2015) in two editions of her weekly radio show.
